Oddity is the materialization of that moment.

Measuring 30" x 30", this oil on canvas was not painted for a gallery wall or a specific commission. It began as a "Color Code" for my own practice—a visual anchor created to stabilize my focus during the development of a complex new project. It is a disciplined inquiry into what it means to hold one’s center while the world around it remains in a state of high-energy flux.

The Anatomy of Presence

The composition is built on a series of deliberate tensions:

  • The Luminous Core: A central, radiating light that serves as the painting's heartbeat. It represents the "still point" found in deep meditation and high-stakes creative focus.

  • The Kinetic Border: A swirling, intricate periphery of teals, deep greens, and amber. These organic forms represent the "oddities" of the creative process—the unpredictable variables and the necessary chaos that precedes true breakthrough.

  • The Structural Weight: Despite the movement, there is a profound sense of balance. The dark, grounding ring surrounding the light act as a protective boundary, ensuring the clarity at the center remains undisturbed.

Why "Oddity" Belongs in Your Collection

For the discerning collector, this piece offers more than aesthetic excellence; it offers a shared state of mind. It is a visual reminder that clarity is not the absence of chaos, but the ability to remain centered within it.

In a modern interior—perhaps a private study or a primary living space—Oddity functions as a visual anchor. It is a work designed to be lived with, rewarding long-term observation with new layers of depth and subtle color relationships that reveal themselves as the light in the room changes throughout the day.

This is a rare opportunity to acquire a piece from my private practice—a work that served as the foundational frequency for my own next chapter.
