When I painted this I was doing a series of mediations I got from a Tom Kenyon book called the Hathor Material.  The meditations are Infinity, the Atom, and the golden Octahedron.  I was about 3 months into doing them when I started the painting. the painting seems to spring out of doing those meditations.
